ABOUT

The beliefs that lead us are founded upon the writings of Scripture, the teachings of the Apostles, and the traditions of the early Christian Church.1 We believe in...

One God, the Father, almighty creator of Heaven and Earth (of all things visible and invisible).

Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God (Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father), our Lord (by whom all things were made). Conceived by the Holy Spirit (who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit, was made man), he was born of the virgin, Mary. He suffered (crucified for us) under Pontius Pilate, and was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell (to the dead) and on the third day He rose from the dead (according to Scripture). He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. He will come (with glory) to judge the living and the dead (whose kingdom shall have no end).

The Holy Spirit, (the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father [and the Son], who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets.)

The holy catholic (and Apostolic) Church.2 The communion of the saints. We affirm (one baptism for) the forgiveness (and remission) of sins.

The resurrection of the body. And the life everlasting (in the world to come). Amen.3
