WHAT IS THE FREEDOM PROCESS?
The Freedom Booklet is a simple resource you can use to uproot unhealthy attitudes, thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. Additionally, it will encourage you to recognize the negative effects, repent of their reactions, and entrust the offender or experience to the Lord. Finally, it will provide the opportunity to replace your distorted and devalued perception of identity with God's specific truth.
There are three ways you can work through this resource: 1) forgiving someone of an offense; 2) releasing the loss; or 3) repenting of a sin. If this is your first time working through this booklet, it is recommended that you watch the following tutorial videos for each section.
The freedom process helps people:
- Confess and release personal sins, failures, & mistakes
- Forgive people who have caused offenses
- Grieve loss & disappointment
- Release expectations & restore peace with God & others

DEVELOPED THROUGH REAL MINISTRY
The Freedom Process was first developed and tested in a classroom setting at a small Bible Institute in 2013. From its inception, it has continued to be used and refined within local churches to help individuals and small groups work through sin, offense, and loss in a structured and biblical way.
Over the years, this process has helped guide honest conversations with God that lead to confession, forgiveness, grieving, and release.
